PLATINUM-certified, GRAMMY-nominated artist and songwriter Anne Wilson has released the official music video for her deeply moving single “God Story.” A stirring anthem of resilience, faith, and redemption, the track showcases Wilson’s ability to weave raw vulnerability into a powerful message of hope.
“God Story” holds special meaning for Wilson, who reflects on life’s defining moments as evidence of God’s presence. “’God Story’ is so personal to me because it’s about those moments in life where you look back and think, ‘Only God could’ve brought me through that,’” Wilson shares. “We all have a God story — times when He shows up in ways we never expected. My hope is that this song helps people see that even in the middle of the pain or the waiting, God is still writing something beautiful.”
Co-written with Matthew West and Jeff Pardo, the song is rooted in Wilson’s own story of grief following the tragic loss of her brother Jacob. Her soaring vocals, at once broken and bold, turn personal scars into a universal anthem of healing and faith, brought vividly to life through the new music video.
“God Story” arrives just as Wilson prepares for a major new chapter in her career. Her third studio album, Stars, will be released on October 17, followed by the launch of her nine-date headline tour, The STARS Tour, beginning October 18 in Nashville. Across 12 new tracks, all co-written by Wilson, the Kentucky native blends country grit with gospel conviction, creating a body of work that bridges storytelling and faith with authenticity.
