Bayo Daniels’ gospel journey began early, growing up in a Christian family and joining the church choir at just 5 years old. His passion for music was fueled by his late father, a fellow music lover, and by his experiences in the choir. Over the years, Bayo has nurtured his musical gifts, drawing inspiration from gospel greats like Don Moen and traveling to Lagos to find the latest gospel music from artists like Hillsong and Integrity Music.
Bayo’s devotion to gospel music continued when he served alongside fellow artists Eben, Gbenga Oke, and Taiwo Oladoye at Winners Chapel in Ota, Nigeria, before moving to London in 2004. Currently, he is a worship leader at Winners Chapel, Dartford, under the leadership of Pastor David Oyedepo (Jnr.), where he continues to inspire congregations with his heartfelt praise and worship.
His previous project, ‘The Walk’, released in November 2015, was a testament to his physical and spiritual journey with God. The songs were born from worship sessions during lunchtime strolls along the River Thames, where Bayo created melodies and wrote lyrics that touched the hearts of many. “The Walk” featured collaborations with renowned gospel artists such as Estah Adeyemi, Tayme Tee, and Bridget Adams, and was produced by Samson Oliver of HOS Production.
Now, with “AFRESH,” Bayo Daniels continues to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, delivering a message of grace, faith, and renewal that resonates with believers and gospel music lovers alike.
