Sibling trio CAIN has released the official music video for their deeply personal single, “I Made It,” a song that embodies themes of hope, endurance, and faith through life’s most difficult seasons. Originally released earlier this year, the track takes on new emotional depth with visuals that reflect the band’s own challenges and losses experienced over the past year — including those of close friends and family.
“In 2024, a word was spoken over us — that word was survival,” shares Taylor Cain Matz. “We were surprised at the heaviness of that word because, up until that point, our lives had been pretty seamless. Shortly after, things got hard for us, not just one of us but all of us, including our families and spouses. And I can see how that year was surviving. And this season brought us to our knees.”
Her brother Logan Cain adds, “We have always tried to be the embodiment of victory in Jesus, and we’ve always tried to be the personification of outward joy. During the last year, I was waiting for victory to show up… waiting for the outward expression of the joy of the Lord to arrive — and yet it just didn’t seem to come.”
For Madison Cain Johnson, “I Made It” is a message to anyone struggling to find joy amid hardship: “You may be in the middle of a hard season upon hard season and feel like a failure because you’re not enjoying life or being grateful enough. We want to encourage you that the joy and the victory may just be that you are surviving. You are still here, and that means God has a purpose and a plan for you.”
Through “I Made It,” CAIN reminds listeners that victory isn’t always loud or instant — sometimes it’s simply choosing to keep going. The song and its accompanying video stand as a moving testimony of perseverance, surrender, and quiet faith in God’s plan through every trial.
