Vineyard Worship is thrilled to present a deluxe edition of “Come Now Is The Time” in celebration of its 25th anniversary. This iconic album, produced by Brian Doerksen, has been a defining collection of Church songs that continue to inspire and uplift worshipers.
On the 22nd of February 1998, a special moment in worship history was captured as “Come Now Is The Time” was recorded. The anticipation in the jam-packed auditorium was palpable, as if everyone present knew that something extraordinary was about to happen. Brian Doerksen, the album’s producer, reflected on the significance of that night: “I sensed God whispering to me, ‘This is one of the reasons I brought you across the Atlantic – to encourage the call to worship in the UK and Ireland in this season.’ And what a wonderful season it was!”
“Come Now Is The Time To Worship,” the title track of this album, became one of the most well-known and beloved worship songs in today’s modern church. Doerksen shared his unexpected journey with the song, saying, “I never expected my new song ‘Come Now Is The Time To Worship’ to impact so many people!”
The year 1998 marked the beginning of Vineyard Worship UK & Ireland’s worship recording journey, and they could not have foreseen the profound impact this project would have on the global Church. Brian Doerksen expressed his gratitude for being part of this significant moment in worship history and witnessing the work of God in the hearts of worshippers.
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of this extraordinary album, Vineyard Worship is releasing a deluxe edition. This special edition includes live-in-the-studio acoustic videos of four key songs. These videos feature performances by Brian Doerksen, Wendy O’Connell, Marc James, Marika Siewart, Nigel Hemming, and Matt Weeks.
