Bethel Music artist, songwriter, and worship leader Noah Paul Harrison has released his powerful new single “The Lifter Of My Head (Live)” featuring Aubree Archibeck, available now on all major streaming platforms. The heartfelt worship anthem serves as the latest preview of Harrison’s highly anticipated solo debut album, DO NOT GO GENTLE, arriving August 28, 2026.
Recorded as a live expression of worship, “The Lifter Of My Head (Live)” is a moving reflection on surrender, trust, and choosing to wait on God even when circumstances feel uncertain. The song encourages listeners to remember that God’s timing remains faithful and His ways are good through every season of life.
Featuring the vocals of Aubree Archibeck, the track captures the quiet confidence of leaning on God through moments of waiting, doubt, and hardship. It joins previously released songs from the upcoming project, including “Christ That We Lift Higher (Live),” “He Wasted Nothing (Live),” and “My Honor To Need You (Live).”
Reflecting on the long journey behind the song, Harrison shares: “Of all the songs on the project, ‘Lifter Of My Head’ took the longest to finish. In some ways, that’s really cool because every season of my life that I spent working on it added a different meaning and depth to the song. My hope is that this song encourages people to trust in the Lord and wait on Him—not by ignoring the challenges and hardships of life, but by actively leaning on Him through them.”
The upcoming eight-track album DO NOT GO GENTLE offers an honest and vulnerable look at the realities of faith, exploring moments of breakthrough and disappointment, hope and heartbreak. Many of the songs were written in Noah and his wife Carling’s apartment, making the project deeply connected to their family, personal experiences, and journey through some of life’s most challenging seasons.
Through the album, Harrison shares a story of learning to trust God in the valleys, holding onto His promises, and finding strength when the path ahead is unclear.
Born and raised in Rochester Hills, Michigan, Noah Paul Harrison discovered his passion for worship at an early age, inspired by the sound of his father playing guitar and worshiping at home. His love for music and ministry led him to begin serving in his youth group before continuing his journey as a worship leader.
In 2017, Harrison moved to Redding, California, where he attended Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) for three years and served as a worship leader at Bethel Church. After seven years in Redding, he relocated to New York City in 2023, where he now leads worship for Bethel New York.
Harrison officially joined the Bethel Music collective in 2024 and has since released songs including “Elohim (Live)”—co-written with Brian Johnson and Gable Price—and “Oh Lord My God (Live)” featuring Jenn Johnson.
