Chart-climbing recording artist Sarah Reeves has made her feature film debut in the powerful family drama God’s Here, a story of faith, forgiveness, and new beginnings. Known for her soulful voice and poignant songwriting, Reeves not only stars in the film but also composed its moving soundtrack. Her outstanding contributions have earned her two nominations at the 2025 International Christian Film & Music Festival (ICFF)—Best Supporting Actress and Best Musical Score.

Inspired by a true story, God’s Here follows Jack Gilmore (Billy McAdams, Jr.), a decorated firefighter and man of deep faith whose life is shattered when his wife (played by Reeves) and son are tragically killed in a texting-and-driving crash just three weeks before Christmas. As Jack grapples with his loss, he is charged with a DUI and required to complete community service, where he encounters a young girl with whom he shares a painful past. Meanwhile, Detective Kent Powers (played by Hercules legend Kevin Sorbo) investigates the fatal accident, uncovering a shocking revelation that ties him personally to the case.

Reeves’ portrayal of Jack’s wife brings emotional depth to the film, while her original soundtrack underscores the story’s themes of hope, redemption, and healing. Her dual role as actress and composer showcases her versatility and artistic vision, earning her well-deserved recognition from the ICFF.

“Being part of God’s Here has been an incredible journey,” says Reeves. “This story is so powerful, and it’s an honor to bring these characters to life through both acting and music. I’m grateful for the nominations and excited to see how this film touches hearts and inspires faith.”
