We felt the weight of the task of reimagining one of his most famous hymns, St. Patrick’s Breastplate, so heavily that we’ve actually written the song several times and shied away from releasing it at the last minute. Finally, in collaboration with Matt Maher, we found a version that we feel honors his legacy. This ancient prayer of protection still feels profoundly relevant today, and we hope we bring the essence of the real St. Patrick to a modern audience with this release.”
