Multi-GRAMMY® nominee and Dove Award-winning artist Matt Maher is stepping into a new chapter of his career, marked by both continued legacy and fresh creative direction. Today, Maher has officially signed with the Music Services Division of SESAC Music Group for independent label services, including digital distribution through AudioSalad and label administration via Music Services Inc.

Alongside the announcement, Maher has released his new single, “Gonna Be Alright,” his first under the new partnership. The track signals a fresh season in his career, blending his signature worship-driven sound with renewed creative energy and an uplifting message of hope and reassurance.
Over the past two decades, Maher has played a defining role in shaping modern worship music, writing songs that have become global church anthems. His catalog includes widely embraced classics such as “Lord, I Need You,” “Because He Lives (Amen),” and “Alive & Breathing,” all of which have been performed across churches and cultures worldwide.
“Matt Maher is an artist whose music has shaped worship culture around the world, and we’re honored to partner with him in the next stage of his career,” said Rose Cook, Chief Operating Officer of the Music Services Division at SESAC Music Group. “With our extensive suite of services across the division, we’re able to support Matt’s independent spirit and artistry while ensuring his music reaches listeners globally.”
Beyond music, Maher is also known as a writer, storyteller, and respected voice in the worship community. Whether leading large congregations or crafting intimate, reflective songs, his work is defined by a balance of theological depth and human honesty.
“Gonna Be Alright” reflects this same spirit, offering a message rooted in encouragement, faith, and perspective. While grounded in the foundation longtime listeners recognize, the single opens a new door for Maher—pointing toward a season of continued growth, creative exploration, and renewed purpose.
