Independent music distribution and marketing company Syntax Creative has announced a new partnership with ChickPower Music, the faith-based independent label founded and owned by acclaimed singer-songwriter, author, and speaker Ginny Owens.
The collaboration brings Owens’ extensive catalog under the Syntax Creative umbrella, creating new opportunities to expand the reach of music that has inspired listeners for more than two decades. Founded in 2005, ChickPower Music serves as the home for Owens’ independent releases, including worship projects, acoustic recordings, Christmas music, and numerous collaborations that have become a defining part of her artistic journey.
The first release under the new partnership is “Greater Is The Cross,” a new single from Ginny Owens featuring Josh Bissell & The Church Will Sing. Written by Owens alongside Tony Wood and Sam Hart, and produced by Kyle Schonewill, the song delivers a message of grace, redemption, and freedom from shame through a modern hymn-inspired sound.
