Acclaimed performer, vocalist, and songwriter Franni Cash has announced her long-awaited debut solo album, Here I Am, set for release on September 18. Alongside the announcement, Cash has unveiled the album’s newest single, “Menace,” available now on all major streaming platforms.

Here I Am marks a bold new chapter for the 2x GRAMMY-nominated and 3x Dove Award-winning artist following her departure from We The Kingdom. Across thirteen songs, Cash opens up about some of the most defining moments of her life, including leaving a religious cult, reevaluating and reclaiming her faith, and stepping into a new season of authenticity and confidence.

“Menace,” written with Natalie Hemby and Cameron Jaymes, is an introspective and infectious track that examines the ways self-doubt and fear can become self-imposed obstacles. Anchored by a head-nodding groove and airy synth textures, the song balances vulnerability with pop-driven energy.

The new single follows previously released tracks “Church Clothes,” “Raised By Wolves,” and “Jesus All Along,” which have collectively amassed more than 5 million streams.

“Making this album has been one of the most challenging things I’ve ever done,” Cash shares. “Leaving a somewhat successful band with my family, I didn’t realize how much of my identity it had become. When I took a step away, I had no idea if I was gonna even make music again. But I quickly realized, singing was like breathing for me, and I had to write to get through this life.”

Known for her honest storytelling and dynamic stage presence, Cash has built a strong following through music that blends vulnerability with hope. During her time with We The Kingdom, she co-wrote two No. 1 songs and was named one of the Top 20 breakout artists across all genres.

With Here I Am, Franni Cash steps into her solo era on her own terms, delivering a deeply personal body of work centered on transformation, healing, and self-discovery.
