Singer-songwriter, worship leader, and American Idol Season 14 runner-up Clark Beckham is set to release his highly anticipated new project Acoustic Worship Sessions on June 26 via NCS Records.

Marking his first full-length release in nearly six years, the six-track collection sees Beckham reimagining beloved worship classics through a stripped-back piano and vocal approach. Drawing from his deep musical roots in gospel, soul, and R&B, the project delivers a heartfelt and intimate worship experience shaped by both technical artistry and spiritual sincerity.

A genre-fluid vocalist and arranger, Beckham brings fresh emotional depth to each selection, balancing moments of quiet reflection with soaring expressions of praise. The project features reinterpretations of modern worship staples including “Goodness of God,” “Graves Into Gardens,” “Great Are You Lord,” “I Could Sing of Your Love Forever,” “Nobody Greater,” and closes with “How Great Is Our God.”

Speaking on the project, Beckham reflects on the organic fusion of his influences: “I think the elements of this record have always been in me, I just didn’t know how to put it together,” he shares. “Growing up, I listened to ‘60s and ‘70s music like Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles. I loved God and worshipped Him in church, but when my love for God and my love for soul and R&B met, this is what came out. Now it’s how I worship when it’s just me, Him, and the piano.”

He further explains his approach to worship through musicality and arrangement:

“I want to introduce the glory of God that is expressed in major seven chords, in tritone substitutions, in modulations and falsetto notes. He is the God of all harmony, melody, rhythm, and tones. My conviction is to use these arrangements as an authentic expression of my love for Him and to inspire others to do the same.”

Beckham first gained international recognition as runner-up on American Idol in 2015, captivating audiences with his soulful tone and dynamic vocal range. Since then, he has built a career spanning original releases, touring, and collaborations, while also serving as a vocal coach and mentor at Nashville Christian Songwriters (NCS).

In addition to his work as an artist, Beckham remains active in music education, helping train emerging writers and performers through NCS’s respected development programs. NCS Records continues to grow as a creative hub for faith-based artists in Nashville’s Berry Hill district.
