After years of influencing the sound of modern worship from behind the scenes, GRAMMY®-nominated songwriter, producer, and arranger ANTHNY (Anthony Brown) is stepping into a new chapter as a solo artist with the announcement of his highly anticipated debut studio album, Worship Leader’s Diary. The 13-track project arrives September 25, 2026, via Sony Music/Provident Entertainment, with pre-orders available now.
Written and produced entirely by ANTHNY, Worship Leader’s Diary blends contemporary worship with the soulful warmth of Christian R&B, creating a deeply personal body of work that explores the realities of faith, leadership, and identity beyond the spotlight.
Described as his personal “Book of Psalms,” the album offers an unfiltered reflection on the emotional and spiritual journey of leading others in worship while navigating personal struggles, purpose, and a relationship with God away from the stage.
“Worship Leader’s Diary is a collection of songs I’ve woven together through honest language and emotional melodies to highlight a young man’s relationship with God,” says ANTHNY. “My life as a worship leader is used as a metaphor that others can hopefully find themselves in, no matter where they are in life, and begin a journey of reconnection and intimacy with God.”
The album announcement arrives alongside the reveal of an impressive lineup of featured artists, including Kierra Sheard-Kelly, Naomi Raine, BJ The Chicago Kid, and Ahjah Walls. Ahead of the album release, fans will receive another preview with the upcoming lead single “Pass Me By” featuring BJ The Chicago Kid.
ANTHNY previously introduced the project with the powerful single “Imposter Syndrome,” a vulnerable exploration of the contrast between the public experience of ministry and the private battles that can follow. The song confronts feelings of uncertainty and self-doubt while ultimately moving toward themes of repentance, healing, and trusting in God’s calling.
A respected creative force in gospel and worship music, ANTHNY’s musical journey began at an early age when he toured alongside legendary gospel figures including Marvin Sapp, Tye Tribbett, and Bishop Paul Morton. Over the years, he has become a sought-after songwriter, producer, and arranger, collaborating with influential artists and collectives such as Maverick City Music, Chandler Moore, and Travis Greene. He also contributed to the global worship anthem “No Bondage” by Jubilee Worship.
With Worship Leader’s Diary, ANTHNY invites listeners beyond the stage and into the heart of a worship leader’s journey—sharing the questions, struggles, victories, and moments of faith that shape a deeper connection with God.
