Emerging Christian artist Allison Eide continues her rapid rise with the release of her new single “HIPS,” available now on all major streaming platforms. The track also marks a major milestone in her career as her debut release under Anotherland, joining a roster that includes Aodhán King, Matt Crocker, and Anna Golden. The official lyric video is also available to watch now.
Produced by Wade Wenrick and co-written by Eide, Franni Cash, and Wenrick, “HIPS” explores the complex intersection of faith, self-worth, and religious expectation. The song invites listeners into an honest conversation about identity and grace, balancing introspective themes with an infectious, upbeat sound.
“I wrote this song as a letter to shame and discovering where my true worth comes from, which is in Christ alone,” Eide shares. “My prayer is that while this song feels catchy and lyrically quirky, it would give people a voice to boldly come to Jesus as they are.”
Rather than offering simplistic answers, “HIPS” reflects a growing cultural conversation around authenticity, especially among Gen Z audiences navigating faith and identity in modern contexts. The track positions Eide as a voice willing to confront tension while still pointing toward hope.
From the beginning, industry supporters have highlighted her sincerity and emotional depth. “From the beginning, we were drawn to Allison’s authenticity,” says Karrie Dawley, Head of Creative at Anotherland. “She has a unique ability to speak to both grief and faith in a way that resonates deeply with this generation. Her artistry is thoughtful and uncompromising, but what stands out most is her ability to make people feel seen, understood, and safe to be honest about where they are.”
Eide first gained attention with her viral 2023 debut “Love Who I Am,” and has since built a strong global following, amassing tens of millions of streams and selling out shows across the United States. Her growing momentum has also included touring support slots and recognition from outlets such as Relevant and Air1.
She is set to join We Are Messengers on tour later this year, further expanding her live presence as her audience continues to grow.
