Angel Studios and Sunrise Animation Studios’ animated feature David has officially reached the #1 spot on Netflix’s Top Movies chart in the United States, just days after its debut on the platform.
The film premiered on Netflix on Wednesday, June 3, and has since gained strong viewer traction, quickly rising to the top of the streaming service’s rankings.
Celebrating the milestone, Phil Wickham—who voices the adult version of David in the film and also contributes to its soundtrack—shared a screenshot of the achievement with fans on Instagram, highlighting the project’s growing impact and audience reception.
The achievement marks a significant moment for the faith-based animated film, which continues to expand its reach through streaming audiences following its initial release through Angel Studios and Sunrise Animation Studios.
