Emerging singer-songwriter Jenna Raine has announced her debut album Jeans, Boys & Jesus, set for release on August 14 via Warner Records.
The 12-track project, co-written entirely by Raine, reflects on her life at 22, weaving together themes of faith, love, heartbreak, friendship, ambition, and the transition into adulthood. Blending warm pop sensibilities with personal storytelling, the album captures what Raine describes as the emotional “beginning of womanhood.”
“This album is the first 22 years of my life in a nutshell,” Raine shares. “The very beginning of womanhood. Even though I haven’t seen it all, there was plenty to learn from the mistakes I made in my teenage years. Like putting my friends first, never settling, raising my standards and most importantly, putting my faith first. The beginning of my 20s have been filled with heartbreak, friendship, falling in love and moving out of my hometown. It’s fun, it’s exciting, it’s a wholesome warm hug from the girl next door. It’s Jeans, Boys & Jesus.”
Ahead of the album, Raine will release the single “What Would I Say?” on Friday, May 29. The track offers a reflective exploration of faith, asking the question: what would it feel like if Jesus walked into the room? Through heartfelt lyrics, Raine traces her spiritual journey from childhood to adulthood, expressing gratitude and reverence shaped by years of personal growth.
To celebrate the release, Raine will perform at Nashville’s iconic Bluebird Cafe on May 29, joined by collaborators Jimmy Robbins, Steph Jones, and Ben Williams for a special writers’ round offering fans an early glimpse into the project.
The album follows recent singles “It Takes A Village,” which highlights the importance of friendship and support during difficult seasons, as well as “Just 15” and “Talk of the Town.” Together, these releases continue to build momentum following her breakout viral hits “It Is What It Is” and “see you later (ten years),” which helped establish her growing global fanbase of over 466 million streams.
Having previously toured with David Kushner and Avery Anna, Raine is expected to announce further music and tour plans later this year as she steps into a new era with her debut album.
