Senegalese singer Anne Elisabeth, affectionately known as Mamina, is excited to announce the release of her latest single, “Tu m’aimes.” This heartfelt track showcases her unique musical journey and dedication to sharing her faith through song.
Born in Dakar to a Diola father and a Senegalese-Vietnamese mother, Anne Elisabeth was drawn to music from a young age. She began her public singing career at just 16, joining various choirs in Dakar to sing for the Lord. In 2010, she made the significant decision to leave her “Mbalakh” style album project with the “Mille Mélodies” label, led by producer Baba Hamdy, to focus entirely on her spiritual mission.
Anne Elisabeth became a vital part of the Hosanna Choir, a Catholic evangelization ministry through worship, where she served under the leadership of Juste Antoine GOMIS for six years. During this time, she grew spiritually and honed her craft before embarking on a two-year spiritual retreat.
In 2021, Anne emerged from her retreat and relocated to Paris, where she founded her own worship ministry. Her first single, “Jaamu,” released in 2022, is a beautiful worship song in Wolof that translates to “Serve/Worship God.” This was followed by popular tracks like “YHWH,” “NDAM,” and the title track of her album, “Dans Tes Pas,” which quickly resonated with audiences.
Her debut studio album, DANS TES PAS, was released on April 19, 2024, under the SION MUSIC label and is available on all streaming platforms. With the release of “Tu m’aimes,” Anne Elisabeth continues to inspire listeners with her powerful vocals and deep spiritual message.
