Australian composer and recording artist Anthony John Sissian continues to break creative boundaries with his new release “I Found Home in Thee,” a deeply reflective track from his independent debut concept album YOU thee ME (THE SEEKER WAS THE SOUGHT).

Blending symphonic artistry, contemporary R&B influences, and a profound spiritual perspective, “I Found Home in Thee” captures the emotional journey at the heart of Sissian’s music: the search for meaning, the discovery of connection, and the realization that what we seek may already exist within us.

The song reflects the wider vision behind YOU thee ME (THE SEEKER WAS THE SOUGHT), a project built around themes of unity, transformation, and the belief that human separation is only temporary. Through rich arrangements and expressive songwriting, Sissian creates a space where classical composition meets modern emotional storytelling.

Before stepping into the world of independent music, Sissian established himself as both a respected legal professional and a composer within Australia’s classical music community. As a contemporary composer for the New South Wales Lawyers Orchestra, his work has shared space alongside legendary composers including Mozart, Handel, and Beethoven. His previous symphonic poem EP Tears on the Time-track was featured in the Cinematic Masterpieces series alongside works connected to celebrated Hollywood composers John Williams and Hans Zimmer.

Beyond his musical achievements, Sissian brings a unique perspective shaped by years of experience as a Sydney solicitor and barrister. His career in law, including his role as Managing Director of Sissian & Associates and former Head of Litigation (2IC) Oceania for Ernst & Young, has influenced his approach to creativity, precision, and storytelling.

The creation of YOU thee ME (THE SEEKER WAS THE SOUGHT) followed a transformative personal experience after Sissian completed the Gateway Voyage consciousness-expansion program at the Monroe Institute in Virginia, USA. From that point, he began developing the intricate musical and lyrical ideas that would become the foundation of the album.

With “I Found Home in Thee,” Sissian invites listeners into a moment of reflection and discovery, offering a song that explores the universal desire for belonging, peace, and a deeper connection with something greater than ourselves.

Through a rare combination of legal discipline, classical composition, and contemporary musical expression, Anthony John Sissian continues to present music that challenges expectations and encourages listeners to explore the deeper questions of existence.
