Award-winning worship leaders and songwriters Aodhán King and Benjamin William Hastings have officially announced their upcoming collaborative project, Happy To Be Here, a body of work born out of an intimate 10-day writing and recording session between the longtime friends. Alongside the announcement, the duo has released the project’s second single, “Saturday,” offering a powerful preview ahead of the album’s May 29 release via Anotherland / Capitol CMG.

“Saturday” explores the emotional and spiritual tension of the in-between—the quiet, uncertain space between the cross and the resurrection. With a reflective tone, the song captures the challenge of holding onto faith when nothing seems to be happening, embodying the waiting, wrestling, and trust that define life’s most difficult seasons.

Anchored in the idea that “Sunday is coming,” the track serves as a poignant reminder not to lose hope, even in silence. It speaks to the universal experience of navigating the space between hardship and breakthrough, encouraging listeners to trust that something is unfolding beneath the surface.

The release follows their earlier single “Hollow Grave” and further showcases the deeply collaborative nature of Happy To Be Here. King and Hastings brought together a close-knit group of musicians for the project, including several of their fellow Hillsong collaborators, while also welcoming special guest appearances from Cody Carnes and Tiffany Hudson of Elevation Worship.

With its honest reflections and spiritually rich themes, Happy To Be Here promises to be a deeply resonant project that speaks to faith in both the highs and the lows. As anticipation builds toward its release, “Saturday” stands as a moving testament to the beauty of trusting God in the waiting.
