Worship collective Bethel Music has released their newest single, “He Has Done Great Things (Live),” now available on all streaming platforms alongside a powerful live music video. The track, led by Bethel Music Co-Founder Brian Johnson, offers a heartfelt reminder of the gospel’s transformative power and serves as a prelude to their forthcoming album, We Must Respond, set for global release on January 10, 2025.
Drawing inspiration from Psalm 103, “He Has Done Great Things (Live)” reflects on God’s unending love, mercy, and forgiveness. Johnson describes the song as “one of my favorite songs I’ve been a part of writing in a long time. It takes us back to the heart of simple worship. From the writing room to the recording, this song just fell into place. I think I’ll be singing this one for the rest of my life.”
The upcoming album, We Must Respond, was recorded live at the historic Cascade Theatre in Redding, California, earlier this year. It features an array of worship songs led by Bethel Music alongside guest vocalists such as Abbie Gamboa, Brooke Ligertwood, and Aodhán King. The album emerges from a season of waiting on the Lord, offering a profound call to worship and a reflection of Psalm 46:10: “Be still and know that I am God.”
Fresh off a GRAMMY nomination for “Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song” with “Holy Forever” featuring Jenn Johnson and CeCe Winans, Bethel Music continues to inspire believers worldwide. Their global reach spans 200 million listeners, thousands of churches utilizing their songs, and sold-out events such as the Bethel Music Conference and Worship Nights.
Since its founding in 2001 by Brian and Jenn Johnson, Bethel Music has consistently ranked among the most influential worship collectives, producing 18 albums, multiple Gold and Platinum-certified records, and chart-topping songs like “Reckless Love,” “It Is Well,” and “Goodness of God.” With a steadfast mission to lead people into transformative encounters with God, Bethel Music remains a beacon of hope and worship for millions.
