Bloody Hare Studio, the independent Canadian animation studio behind the dark animated feature series Hare, has officially launched a companion music project featuring an original collection of songs rooted in faith, Scripture, gospel traditions, and spiritual reflection.
Created as an artistic extension of the Hare universe, the music explores themes of doubt, redemption, judgment, mercy, grief, hope, and the search for faith in a world marked by collapse.
A Gospel Voice Beneath the Apocalypse
At the heart of the project is a deep exploration of faith. Drawing inspiration from biblical passages, gospel music, hymns, psalms, and spiritual lyricism, the songs examine the tension between brokenness and belief.
The music responds to the world portrayed in Hare, a dark environment where religion has been corrupted and faith has been manipulated by offering a more intimate and honest spiritual perspective.
