Celebrate Jesus this Easter with the powerful and uplifting new song, “You Have Put Me Together,” by UK Nigerian Gospel Singer and composer Deola Jewel. Inspired by Psalm 147:3 and Psalm 23:5, the song is a testament to God’s redemptive power and serves as a source of comfort and encouragement for all listeners.

In creating this inspirational song, Deola expresses her profound gratitude to her beloved husband, Pastor Fola Alade, for his unwavering support and prayers during the production. His blessings to the ministry have been invaluable, and she is eternally grateful for his presence in her life.

Deola Jewel collaborated with music producer Kenzeal and a talented team of cinematographers to craft a song that is both musically and lyrically impactful. Through prayer and deep reflection on scripture, she developed a melody and lyrics that uplift and remind listeners of God’s unwavering faithfulness and love throughout all seasons of life.

When asked about the inspiration behind the song, Deola, a multi-talented saxophonist, shared, “The song ‘You Have Put Me Together’ draws inspiration from two scripture passages: Psalm 147:3, which reads, ‘He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds,’ and Psalm 23:5, which declares, ‘You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.’ The idea for the song came to me during a period of personal reflection on the ways in which God brought healing and restoration to my life. It reminds me of God’s redemptive power, especially as we celebrate Easter.”

Deola Jewel’s hope for this song, scheduled for release on Saturday, April 8th, is to provide listeners with a source of comfort, encouragement, and hope. The message of the song embodies victory in Christ, serving as a reminder of God’s unwavering faithfulness and love throughout all seasons of life.

In response to how the inspiration for the song came to her, Deola shared, “I have personally experienced brokenness and pain, and it was during a time of healing in my own life that the inspiration for this song emerged. I wanted to create a song that could resonate with others who may be going through similar experiences and to share the hope and encouragement I found during my own healing journey.”
