Christian hard rock mainstays Disciple have officially released the live music video for their powerful track “Bow Down,” giving fans a front row look at one of the standout moments from WinterJam Tour 2026. Filmed during the tour by Tyler Vandervort of Vandervort Media, the newly released visual captures the intensity, passion, and worship-filled atmosphere that made the song a nightly highlight on the road.
Speaking about the response to the song, the band shared, “We were blown away by the response to ‘Bow Down’ when we played it while touring on this year’s WinterJam. The message of unyielding dedication to our protective, powerful God clearly deeply resonated with our audience and became a highlight moment of our set every night. When Tyler Vandervort approached us about capturing a live video of the song, it felt like the perfect opportunity to immortalize such a special moment.”
The release of the video also arrives alongside major news for the band, as Dane Allen has officially joined Disciple as bassist and vocalist. Allen has already been closely connected to the group through their Grammy-nominated worship project Honor & Glory and years of touring support work. He now joins Kevin Young, Josiah Prince, Andrew Stanton, and Joey West as an official member of the lineup.
“Dane Allen has been a part of the Disciple family for a long time, and listeners are already familiar with his vocals on the past few Disciple albums — even if they didn’t realize it was him,” the band explained. “Dane offers incredible artistry and range as a vocalist and bass player for both Disciple and Honor & Glory. We are so excited to officially welcome him as a full member of the band!”
For over 30 years, Disciple have remained a driving force in Christian hard rock, blending aggressive instrumentation with messages of faith and hope. The band’s catalog includes fan favorites such as “Dear X (You Don’t Own Me),” “After the World,” “Erase,” and “Promise to Live,” while their music has also appeared across ESPN, WWE, Fox Sports, and major television series including CSI: Miami and Criminal Minds.
