Born in Kinshasa into a Christian family, she was raised in an environment deeply rooted in faith, with her mother serving as a pastor. Her spiritual journey began at an early age, joining the children’s choir at Torrent of Glory Church when she was just eight years old.

At the age of 11, Joyce made the personal decision to follow Jesus Christ, and two years later she publicly affirmed her faith through water baptism. Today, she continues to serve faithfully in worship at her local church, The Word of Salvation, where she ministers under the leadership of a pastoral team devoted to sharing the Gospel.

Alongside her ministry in music, Joyce Lydie is a multifaceted communicator and leader. Driven by a desire to make a lasting impact beyond music, Joyce founded the Brainstorming Association, an initiative dedicated to educating young people, empowering women, and promoting Christian values within society. Through its digital programs, the organization creates meaningful conversations around social issues and current events while encouraging faith-based perspectives and practical solutions.

With “Je Ne Désire Que Toi,” Joyce Lydie continues her mission of using music as a tool to strengthen faith and draw people closer to God. The single reflects her heart for worship and her desire to inspire listeners to seek God’s presence above all else.
