Katy Nichole, the Billboard Chartbreaker and 2023’s Gospel Music Association New Artist of the Year, made her highly anticipated debut on FOX & Friends this last Friday. Her performance marked the beginning of the celebrated morning show’s All American Christmas Concert Series for this season. Nichole delivered a captivating rendition of the classic holiday song, “O Holy Night,” showcasing her exceptional vocal talent.
Following her appearance on FOX & Friends, Katy Nichole will continue spreading holiday cheer as she joins Tauren Wells and Jordan Smith on a Christmas tour. The tour kicks off in Cincinnati tonight (Dec. 1) and will be followed by her participation in Winter Jam ’24, Christian music’s biggest arena tour, starting on January 12.
FOX & Friends co-host Ainsley Earhardt expressed her admiration for Katy Nichole’s performance, exclaiming, “A beautiful performance from Katy Nichole. How about that voice, she is unbelievable!” Earhardt also acknowledged Nichole as a top-charting singer who puts faith in the spotlight.
During the show, a clip of Nichole’s music video for her RIAA Certified Platinum, BMI Christian, and K-LOVE Fan Award-winning single, “In Jesus Name (God of Possible),” was played to introduce her appearance. Earhardt praised the song as one of the best out there right now and gave Nichole the opportunity to share her personal journey from anxiety and depression to health and wholeness.
Nichole shared her powerful testimony, stating, “I mean it when I say, Jesus changed my life. I’ve had two back surgeries, and the first one didn’t go as planned. I was very depressed afterward, to the point where I wanted to end my life. Thankfully, I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Hold on, I’m not done yet.’ And I believed that voice. If I hadn’t believed that voice, I would not be standing here right now.”
Following her successful national morning show debut, Katy Nichole will be featured on an upcoming episode of FOX & Friends Weekend, where she will perform her hit single, “In Jesus Name (God of Possible).” The song held the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart for an impressive 20 weeks, making it the biggest song of the decade. It is featured on her album, “Jesus Changed My Life,” as well as the deluxe version set to release on March 15, 2024. The deluxe edition will include four never-before-released originals among the seven additional tracks.
Katy Nichole continues to make waves in the Christian music industry with her honest and impeccable artistry. Her second and third-straight No. 1 songs, “God Is In This Story” and the Recording Academy-featured “Hold On,” have solidified her position as one of the genre’s fastest-rising talents.
