On the one-year anniversary of the largest hurricane ever to hit Southwest Florida, KJ-52 releases his latest album, “Still Standing.” This album is a tribute to the resilience, unity, and hope of a community that is still recovering from the devastation caused by the hurricane.
“Still Standing” features 11 tracks, including the radio hit “No Bad Days (feat. Peabod),” which recently reached #1 on Christian radio. The album also includes collaborations with artists such as Dan Rivera of SEU Worship on “Hall of Fame” and Fern of Social Club and Gaijin on “Sunshine.”
The album is deeply inspired by the stories of perseverance that emerged from the hurricane’s aftermath. KJ-52, who is also a local pastor, spent weeks serving his community by providing food, water, repairs, and more, demonstrating the love of Christ in practical ways. “Still Standing” aims to capture the spirit of unity and resilience that defines this community as they continue to rebuild their lives.
In a heartfelt gesture, KJ-52 is hosting a liquidation sale of all his physical merchandise to fund repairs to his own home, which was damaged in the hurricane. This act reflects his commitment to supporting and standing with his community as they navigate the ongoing challenges caused by the hurricane.
