Internationally acclaimed praise band Planetshakers has released their latest project, ‘Christmas Chill, Vol. 1,’ globally. The 5-track instrumental EP is now available on all major digital and streaming platforms through Venture3Media (V3M). Listeners can access the EP here

Written and produced by Joth Hunt, the EP features instrumental versions of beloved Christmas classics such as “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “Silent Night,” and “O Holy Night.” It also includes renditions of “Hark” and “All Glory” from Planetshakers’ latest full-production album for the season, ‘It’s Christmas Live.’

According to Joth Hunt, “Christmas is a time to reflect on the greatest gift of all, Jesus.” He describes ‘Christmas Chill, Vol. 1’ as a nostalgic soundtrack that serves as a reminder of God’s remarkable gift. The EP is intended to be played before the start of Christmas services and during traditional holiday activities like decorating the Christmas tree and sharing meals.

In addition to the audio release, Planetshakers has shared a YouTube video featuring all five songs from ‘Christmas Chill, Vol. 1.’ The video creates a warm and festive atmosphere with a live fireplace backdrop.

‘Christmas Chill, Vol. 1′ follows the release of Planetshakers’ single “A Very Merry Christmas” in 2021, which featured guitarist Mateus Asato and keyboardist Jesus Molina.

Earlier this month, Planetshakers also released ‘Show Me Your Glory – Live At Chapel,’ a 12-song and 12-video project recorded live in-the-round. The album features band members singing alongside Planetshakers Bible College students in their chapel. It offers a musically accessible approach for smaller gatherings and takes listeners on a praise and worship journey.

Planetshakers continues to make a global impact with their music and message. Their commitment to creating an atmosphere of unity and inspiration shines through in their releases, including ‘Christmas Chill, Vol. 1.’
