Tamela Mann continues to make history, winning two NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Gospel/Christian Album with Live Breathe Fight and Outstanding Gospel/Christian Song for her chart-topping single “Working For Me.” The wins were announced during the Image Awards’ virtual ceremony, marking another milestone in Tamela’s storied career.
“I’m truly humbled and honored to be recognized by the NAACP for Live Breathe Fight and ‘Working For Me,’” shared Tamela Mann. “I’m grateful to God for allowing me to have this opportunity, and I’m thankful to the Image Awards for giving this music a platform to reach people.”
Produced by Tamela, David Mann, Phillip Bryant, and Jevon Hill, Live Breathe Fight showcases some of Tamela’s most deeply personal and compelling songs. The album’s lead single, “Working For Me,” became her fastest-rising hit, earning Tamela her 11th No. 1 on Billboard, more than any other gospel artist in history.
Following the success of “Working For Me,” Tamela’s latest single, “Deserve To Win,” is climbing the gospel charts. The music video, directed by David Mann, is now available, and fans can look forward to an exclusive behind-the-scenes look in the upcoming documentary, Winning Is Personal: The Story of “Deserve To Win.” The film will premiere on MannTV on Friday, February 21, at 6:00 PM CST.
With these latest accolades, Tamela Mann continues to solidify her status as one of gospel music’s most powerful and inspirational voices.
