Renowned producer, composer, songwriter, and recording artist Tommee Profitt has announced the release date for his live album and concert film titled “The Birth Of A King.”
This performance was filmed last year at the Fisher Center and featured an impressive lineup of 19 artists, a 50-piece orchestra, a 100-person choir, and a full band. Some of the featured artists include Jordan Smith, Evvie McKinney, Clark Beckham, Rachael Lampa, Sarah Reeves, Crowder, Colton Dixon, Hollyn, SVRCINA, Fleurie, and more.
Tommee Profitt originally released his high-concept holiday album, “The Birth of a King,” in October 2020 through Capitol CMG. The album, which had been in the making for 15 years, featured collaborations with a diverse lineup of guest artists, including Avril Lavigne, Tauren Wells, Stanaj, and Chris Tomlin. The LP is a collection of grandiose tracks that showcase Profitt’s musicality, cinematic production skills, and genre-blending sound. “The Birth of a King” adds an epic quality to traditional holiday music in true Tommee Profitt fashion.
Profitt has also announced that he will be coordinating a live performance at the Grand Ole Opry on December 4, continuing his tradition of captivating live shows
