Weider Silva de Oliveira, professionally known as WSO, is a rapper and MC who has built his career in hip-hop since 2007. He has participated in numerous freestyle rap battles, establishing his identity both on the streets and in music.
At 36, the artist enters a new chapter of his career with the release of his fifth album, titled “SingVlar (Singular)”
The project features five tracks representing essential pillars of his identity, inspired by his numerology and personal experiences.
As the album’s main highlight, WSO presents the single “Gratidão”, which carries a profound and spiritual message, setting the tone for the project.
“Gratidão” is rooted in the belief that everything begins with the act of giving thanks. The song invites listeners to reflect on the small details of life that often go unnoticed from the simple fact of being alive to the protection and blessings experienced along the way, family, and the journey that has been built up to this point.
The track also incorporates teachings from Dona Ione, the artist’s grandmother, bringing wisdom and a connection between generations.
The music is produced by beatmaker RB Alves, with guitar by Tael, mixing and mastering by Victor Arle, and additional vocals by Marcio Rc. The song was written by WSO himself, further reinforcing his authenticity and artistic identity.
