Ivorian musician Apasaph, born EBOÏ Asaph Patrice, is making waves in the music scene with his latest release, the inspirational single “Ma Foi,” which translates to “My Faith” in English. Born in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, in 1980, Apasaph’s musical journey began under the guidance of his mother, who was a part of the church choir.

In 1991, Apasaph ventured into the world of rap, drawing inspiration from renowned groups like R.A.S., PBS, NAUGHTY BY NATURE, and others. Over the course of 15 years, he actively contributed to several rap collectives and groups between Bonoua and Bassam, showcasing his versatility in genres such as Rap, Ragga, and Reggae, using the pseudonym G1gaman Troy.

After a 17-year absence from the music scene, Apasaph made a triumphant return under the pseudonym Apasaph, derived from the combination of “Apôtre Patrice” and “Asaph.” His recently released single, “Ma Foi,” falls under the genre of “Urban Gospel” and delivers a powerful message of hope, faith, and the availability of divine salvation.

Currently residing in Bordeaux, France, Apasaph is back in his native Côte d’Ivoire to promote this musical work and continue his apostolic mission.
