This fall, Casting Crowns, the GRAMMY-winning and multi-Platinum-selling group, is celebrating its 20th Anniversary as a band in a grand way.
They’ve released a legacy album titled “Lifesong: A Celebration of the First 20 Years,” which is available for fans to enjoy. In addition, the group is hitting the road on the “Casting Crowns’ 20th Anniversary Tour: A Live Symphony Experience” and will be premiering a band documentary called “Casting Crowns: Home By Sunday” in theaters on November 30th.
The anniversary album features 21 songs and 20 guest artists who have re-recorded Casting Crowns’ songs in their own unique styles. The album includes chart-topping hits like “Voice of Truth,” “Nobody,” “Praise You In This Storm,” and “Who Am I,” as well as songs re-recorded by the group themselves. It also features one brand new song, “On This Desert Road.”
The fall tour, “Casting Crowns’ 20th Anniversary Tour: A Live Symphony Experience,” kicked off recently and will visit cities across the country. For this special tour, Casting Crowns will be joined by a live orchestra, promising a one-of-a-kind concert experience.
To cap off the anniversary celebrations, “Home By Sunday” offers an intimate look into the journey, music, and ministry of Casting Crowns. The film delves into their unique beginnings, the inspiration behind some of their most beloved songs, and a near-life-ending diagnosis that played a pivotal role in their story. The cinema engagement includes exclusive performances of “Praise You In This Storm,” “Only Jesus,” and “Nobody.”
