Chris Llewellyn, one of the founding members of the platinum-selling worship band Rend Collective, has ventured into the solo realm with his debut album, ‘Honest,’ released under Capitol CMG.

This collection of twelve Celtic-rooted songs delves into life with raw honesty and curiosity. Llewellyn invites listeners to explore questions about faith, doubt, and God’s unwavering love through this deeply personal and reflective album. To coincide with the release, a music video for the track “Still Believe In The Magic” is also available.

Llewellyn shares, “This album is me reading my diary to you out loud – no filter. It’s full of hope and doubt, hurt feelings and conflict, yet, ultimately, faith. Not a shiny airbrushed faith, but something weathered, tested, and durable. It’s my hope that by ‘oversharing’ I can offer you a permission slip to ask your own bold questions.”

Drawing inspiration from storytellers in his homeland of Ireland, including Van Morrison, Glen Hansard, Foy Vance, and U2, Llewellyn’s music combines elements of alternative pop and Americana, accompanied by live looping performances. He currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee, with his family.
