Multi-platinum-selling artist Cory Asbury has released a cinematic music video for his powerful single “Kind.” Directed by Kaiser Cunningham and Taylor Kelly, the video takes the form of a short film, following a couple through the ups and downs of their relationship.
“I can’t wait for y’all to see this music video,” shares Asbury. “It’s raw, real, and visceral, and it’ll leave you in a puddle in awe of the kindness of Jesus.” The song “Kind,” which has already been streamed over 10 million times, is part of Asbury’s third studio album, Pioneer, released earlier this Fall.
Pioneer is a raw and vulnerable body of work that taps into life experiences Asbury has not previously shared. Teaming up with accomplished Nashville songwriters and producers, the album explores stories of loss, redemption, and acceptance.
Cory Asbury rose to fame with his debut album Let Me See Your Eyes in 2009 and has since become a multi-platinum-selling artist. His 2018 album Reckless Love topped the Billboard charts and earned him two Dove Awards and a Grammy nomination. The title track, “Reckless Love,” has been certified 3x Platinum and spent 18 weeks at #1 on the charts.
