French singer-songwriter Daniel Brossier returns with his new single “Si Je Devais Choisir,” a heartfelt release that reflects a lifetime shaped by music, personal experiences, and a deep commitment to sharing messages of faith and encouragement through song.
Music has been part of Daniel’s journey since childhood. Growing up surrounded by musical influences, he began performing at just 14 years old, entertaining audiences during summer seasons in Corsica. His passion for songwriting developed throughout the 1980s, leading him to create his own compositions and form the group ELIXIR in 1982. The band released its first 45-rpm record, “La grande dame,” in 1984, marking the beginning of Daniel’s professional recording journey.
During this early chapter of his career, Daniel had the opportunity to share stages with established artists including Gérard Palaprat and French group Les Forbans, performing at notable venues and continuing to build his reputation as a passionate performer.
In 1985, Daniel’s career took him from Corsica to Paris after meeting a producer who offered him a collaboration and recording opportunity. He moved to the French capital to record his second single, “I Love You,” which was later signed and distributed by Music AZ, a label known for working with artists such as Michèle Torr and Plastic Bertrand.
A major turning point in Daniel’s life came in 1988 when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord. From that moment, he dedicated his musical gifts to serving God and sharing messages of hope through his songs. Throughout the 1990s, he continued writing faith-inspired music, eventually releasing his first album, “Poursuivre la route,” in 1998. Focused on sharing the Gospel and encouraging the Church, the project connected strongly with audiences and sold more than 5,000 copies.
After returning to Corsica with his wife in 2003, Daniel faced a number of personal and health challenges that led him to step away from his musical ministry for a period of time. However, after years away from the spotlight, he made his return in 2018 with the three-track EP “Juste une prière,” marking a renewed season of creativity and worship.
Now, Daniel Brossier continues that journey with “Si Je Devais Choisir,” a song that represents his ongoing desire to create music filled with sincerity, reflection, and spiritual depth. The release arrives as part of his broader musical comeback, leading into his latest project, “En aparté,” a six-track collection featuring original compositions that showcase his personal storytelling and enduring passion for music.
With decades of experience behind him, Daniel Brossier’s latest work reflects an artist who has continued to evolve while staying committed to the message that has guided his life: using music to inspire, encourage, and bring people closer to faith.
