Grammy-nominated songwriter, composer and author Laurence Baer announces “Effortlessly,” an introspective new single set to feature as part of his forthcoming 20-song concept collection, Across Light (The 20-Song Master Collection).
Rooted in acoustic soul, “Effortlessly” brings together expressive vocal arrangements, warm production and reflective songwriting to explore faith, surrender and the search for inner peace. The track showcases Baer’s melodic craftsmanship and spiritual sensibility, offering listeners a thoughtful musical experience centred on finding calm amid life’s uncertainties and transitions.
As part of the broader Across Light project, the single serves as an emotional reflection on the interplay between light and shadow. Its intimate approach and accessible message contribute to the collection’s wider conceptual vision, inviting listeners to consider the role of faith, acceptance and personal reflection in navigating the complexities of modern life.
Baer takes a hands-on approach to bringing his musical ideas to life, using digital production tools and advanced vocal-synthesis technology to develop arrangements that preserve the integrity of his original copyrighted chords, melodies and lyrics. This process allows him to shape an expansive sonic landscape while maintaining the personal and expressive qualities at the heart of his songwriting.
