Swiss funk trio The Next Movement return with “Mojo,” a vibrant new single blending Afrobeat, jazz-funk and neo-soul into an uplifting celebration of confidence, resilience and rediscovered joy.

SoulVision Productions, the track features the powerful horn section of the SoulVision Allstars.

The Next Movement are back with “Mojo,” a high-energy single that captures the trio’s unmistakable passion for groove while exploring fresh musical territory.

Fusing Afrobeat rhythms, jazz-funk textures and soulful swagger, the track delivers an infectious, horn-driven sound designed to get listeners moving.

Featuring longtime collaborators René Mosele, Fabienne Hoerni and Dave Feusi of the SoulVision Allstars, “Mojo” expands the band’s signature sound with bold brass arrangements, razor-sharp accents and an irresistible rhythmic drive.

Arranged by Mosele, the horns bring added depth and energy to a production that balances musical precision with the spontaneity and excitement of a live performance.

At the heart of the song is the uplifting refrain, “I got my mojo back,” a declaration of renewal and self-belief. Built around the idea of reclaiming one’s confidence after a period of uncertainty or self-doubt, “Mojo” transforms a personal comeback into a feel-good anthem for anyone ready to move forward with renewed purpose.

Rather than relying on a single genre, The Next Movement draw on their versatility to create a sound that feels both familiar and adventurous. Infectious grooves, soulful vocals and dynamic instrumentation come together in a track that celebrates the liberating power of music.

The result is an invitation to shake off hesitation, rediscover inner strength and embrace life with fresh energy.

“Mojo” also highlights the trio’s ability to push beyond conventional musical boundaries without losing sight of the groove that defines their identity. The single offers another glimpse of their evolving sound ahead of their forthcoming full-length album, scheduled for October 2026.

Consisting of J.J. Flueck on drums, samples and lead vocals, Pascal “P” Kaeser on bass, synthesizers and backing vocals, and Sam Siegenthaler on guitar and backing vocals, The Next Movement have established themselves as an electrifying force in contemporary funk and soul.

Despite operating as a three-piece, the band delivers a remarkably expansive sound, combining virtuosic musicianship with the energy of a much larger ensemble. Their music draws on funk, neo-soul and R&B, while their live performances are known for tight rhythms, dynamic interplay, humour and an infectious sense of fun.

With more than 1,500 live shows behind them, the trio have performed at major festivals and respected venues across Europe and beyond, including Leverkusener Jazztage, Black Sea Jazz Festival in Georgia, Saulkrasti Jazz in Latvia, Jazztage Dresden, Enclave de Agua in Spain, Blue Note in Milan, Porgy & Bess in Vienna and Moods in Zurich.

With “Mojo,” The Next Movement reaffirm their commitment to musical exploration while delivering a timely reminder of the power of rhythm, resilience and renewed confidence.

The Next Movement are a Swiss trio bringing together funk, neo-soul, R&B and groove-driven music through an explosive combination of live instrumentation, technical excellence and infectious energy. Featuring J.J. Flueck, Pascal “P” Kaeser and Sam Siegenthaler, the group creates a powerful, full-bodied sound that extends far beyond its three-piece lineup.
