Grammy-nominated and Stellar Award-winning artist Jekalyn Carr has teamed up with Elevation Worship and Elevation Rhythm to release “God Of War.” This powerful track is featured on her upcoming self-titled album, ‘JEKALYN,’ which is set to be released via WayNorth Music later this month on October 20.
‘JEKALYN’ is an album filled with inspirational, faith-filled messages that offer encouragement, empowerment, and freedom. Each lyric is designed to bring excitement and restoration to listeners. The album showcases Jekalyn Carr’s maturity and reflects the elevation of her faith that has inspired people for years and will continue to do so for years to come.
This self-titled release marks Jekalyn Carr’s first full album in four years. She is also currently nominated for a 54th GMA Dove Award for Contemporary Gospel Recorded Song of the Year for her collaboration “New Day” with Blanca.
In addition to her music career, Jekalyn Carr has ventured into acting, starring in the Universal Pictures film ‘PRAISE THIS’ as “KiKi.” She received praise for her comedic portrayal of a ghetto-fabulous choir member in the movie.
Jekalyn Carr has also expanded her brand with the launch of the JEKALYN BEAUTY collection. She can be heard hosting the “Jekalyn Carr Family Affair Show” on Radio One’s Atlanta affiliate, Praise 102.5, during midday hours from Monday to Friday.
