GRAMMY-nominated artists Keith and Kristyn Getty are bringing the cherished sounds of the season to audiences across America and beyond with their 2024 An Irish Christmas tour. This annual tradition, now in its 15th year, combines beloved Christmas carols, newly released songs, and modern hymns with humor, Irish dancing, and time-honored Scripture readings to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.
The tour kicks off in Nashville, Tennessee, on November 30, and will visit eight U.S. cities before culminating in a grand finale at Carnegie Hall in New York City on December 16. The Carnegie Hall concert marks two significant milestones for the Gettys: their 10th appearance at the iconic venue and Keith Getty’s 50th birthday.
The special Carnegie Hall event will feature an extraordinary lineup of guest appearances, including:
- A.R. Bernard, founder of Brooklyn’s Christian Cultural Center
- Alistair Begg, senior pastor of Cleveland’s Parkside Church
- English poet Malcolm Guite
- Singer-songwriter Blessing Offor
Additionally, a 150-person choir composed of members from across the nation will join the Gettys on stage for this unforgettable evening.
“We have never looked forward to a Christmas tour more than this year,” shared Keith Getty. “To be turning 50, going back to Carnegie Hall for the 10th time, and most of all, to finally take An Irish Christmas back to our home country makes this an indescribably special occasion.”
Following the U.S. leg of the tour, An Irish Christmas will conclude with two Home for Christmas performances in the Gettys’ hometown of Belfast, Northern Ireland, on December 19 and 20.
Over the past 15 years, An Irish Christmas has become a beloved tradition, featuring two PBS television specials and captivating audiences of all ages with its rich blend of musical excellence and heartfelt celebration of the season.
