Keith Christ is thrilled to announce the release of his new single, “Reflect,” a sensual ambient indie chamber pop jazz piece that showcases the lush sounds of a Steinway Grand piano and romantic saxophone lines. This innovative track explores the profound theme of identity in a world overwhelmed by screens, advertisements, and opinions, urging listeners to remember who they are in spirit.
Inspired by a conversation with an Australian radio host who noted that this song may resonate more with the American market, Keith emphasizes that “Reflect” delves into our true essence as spiritual beings. He shares, “We are not flesh; this is our garment to house and protect our spirit while on earth on our journey in this person of eternity.” The song calls for a transformation of earthly perspectives, encouraging love for God and others while bringing heaven down to earth for future generations.
In “Reflect,” Keith poses critical questions about our identity and what image we are projecting in today’s chaotic world. He reflects on the parallels between the ancient and modern eras, drawing attention to the self-worship and idolization seen in both the Old Testament and the digital age. Keith states, “Have we forgotten our identity and who we reflect?” He highlights the impact of the media on our psyche, reminding listeners that we are influenced by what we see and hear, echoing the biblical wisdom found in Proverbs 23:7: “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.”
Keith Christ’s Journey
Keith Christ is a resilient Christian and devoted father of three, who has overcome significant personal challenges, including growing up in a household marked by domestic violence and navigating two divorces. His unwavering faith in God remains his first love and greatest pursuit.
Although he did not discover his musical talents until later in life, music has always been a constant in Keith’s journey. After a series of life events interrupted his singing career in 2009, a transformative experience on July 10, 2022, marked a new chapter for him. This divine intervention led him to overcome drug dependence and alcoholism, resulting in a remarkable physical transformation—shedding over 70 kg by adopting a raw food and fish diet.
With a diagnosis of ASD and managing PTSD from a traumatic work incident, along with severe physical disabilities, Keith’s faith and miraculous recovery have enabled him to live pain-free and fully engage with his children, aged 10-22. His journey of healing has reignited his passion for music, inspiring him to take bass lessons, resume singing, and embrace songwriting.
