19-time GRAMMY Award-winning producer, songwriter, and artist Kirk Franklin, has unveiled his new music titled “Try Love.” The song is the second single from his upcoming album, “Father’s Day,” scheduled for release on October 6, 2023. “Try Love” follows the album’s lead single, “All Things.”
Written and produced by Kirk Franklin himself, “Try Love” is a feel-good, mid-tempo anthem that encourages listeners to choose love and peace when facing life’s challenges, reflecting the theme of God’s everlasting love. The accompanying music video showcases people of different ages, races, and backgrounds connecting with one another, emphasizing the song’s message.
In addition to his musical endeavors, Kirk Franklin hosted the Exodus Music and Arts Festival in May and will embark on The Reunion Tour alongside The Clark Sisters, Israel Houghton, David and Tamela Mann, and Tye Tribbett, starting on September 28, 2023. Furthermore, he is co-hosting and co-executive producing “The One,” a dating series with his wife Tammy Franklin, which is currently airing on TV One.
