Southern California worship artist and multi-instrumentalist John Allan is set to release his first live-recorded EP, LIVE FROM ANAHEIM, on June 5 through Centricity Music. Blending indie rock, alternative pop, and worship influences, the project captures the raw energy and spiritual atmosphere of Allan’s live performance at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California.
The upcoming EP features the previously released tracks “Living God” and “Resurrection Power,” both of which are available now on streaming platforms. Fans can also pre-save and pre-order the full project through John Allan Music.
Recorded live on November 23 during a special concert in Anaheim, LIVE FROM ANAHEIM pairs polished live audio with immersive visual production. The release highlights Allan’s signature fusion of soaring alternative-rock textures and worship-centered lyricism, drawing inspiration from bands such as The Killers, Bon Iver, The National, and Novo Amor.
Following the live recording, Allan reflected on the experience with fans in an emotional Instagram post. “We were honored to bow down alongside your vibrant hearts last night,” he wrote. “Thank you for choosing to spend time with our souls. Closing out a God-given evening with all of you was a privilege. I love you eternally. Eyes on Heaven.”
In addition to the energetic anthem “Resurrection Power” and the Worship Leader Magazine-highlighted “Living God,” the EP also includes “Keep On Finding More,” a sweeping and atmospheric worship track inspired by Ephesians 3:20. Co-written with Andy Cherry and Blake Wiggins, the song emphasizes God’s endless creativity, love, and faithfulness.
“All of the good things are from His heart: imagination, wonder, creativity, love, mercy, hope,” Allan shared. “The same God that hung the stars and breathed the planets is in the details right here, right now.”
