Gaither Music Group announces the release of “Soul on Fire,” the latest single from DOVE Award-nominated singer, songwriter, and musician Mike Rogers, available now on all streaming platforms. The track offers a powerful preview of his forthcoming self-titled album, Mike Rogers, arriving May 29, 2026 on CD and DVD.
Featuring guest appearances from Mac Powell of Third Day and The Isaacs, “Soul on Fire” stands out as one of the project’s most dynamic moments. The song blends Rogers’ deep bluegrass roots with a vibrant, contemporary gospel energy, highlighting the collaborative spirit that defines the album.
Widely respected across Nashville’s gospel and bluegrass circles, Rogers has built a reputation as a seasoned musician both onstage and in the studio. After launching his career as a drummer, he moved to Nashville to perform with Craig Morgan before joining Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, where he stepped into the spotlight as a lead vocalist and guitarist.
In recent years, Rogers has performed with Ricky Skaggs’ Kentucky Thunder and become part of the acclaimed quartet Brothers of the Heart alongside Jimmy Fortune, Bradley Walker, and Ben Isaacs. His solo debut marks a natural progression, showcasing the tenor voice and interpretive depth that have long set him apart.
Produced by Ben Isaacs, Mike Rogers blends Gospel standards with Country favorites that have shaped his musical journey. The project balances reverence for tradition with a fresh, personal delivery, reflecting both his roots and his versatility.
“‘Soul on Fire’ is one of those songs that just hits you right away,” says Rogers. “It’s got that energy, but it’s also rooted in something real. Getting to sing it with Mac and The Isaacs made it even more special, because these are people I’ve looked up to and worked alongside for years. This whole record is a reflection of that journey.”
The album features an impressive lineup of collaborators, including Bill Gaither, Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs, Jimmy Fortune, Emily Ann Roberts, and Sharon White, underscoring Rogers’ deep musical relationships across genres.
In addition to the album, a companion DVD captures Rogers live in concert, featuring performances with many of the project’s collaborators. The special, hosted by Mark Lowry, will air across multiple networks including TBN, RFD-TV, and others during the weekend of May 29. A radio special will also debut on SiriusXM, with tracks featured on SiriusXM’s enLighten channel.
Fans can also stream the full-length project via Gaither TV+ or purchase the CD and DVD through official platforms. Additionally, Gaither Homecoming programming is now accessible through the newly launched GaitherTV channel on XUMO PLAY, expanding access across TV, mobile, and tablet devices.
With “Soul on Fire” leading the way, Mike Rogers steps confidently into his solo spotlight, delivering a project that honors tradition while embracing a fresh and heartfelt musical vision.
