Veteran singer, songwriter, producer, and ordained minister Pops Conerly has released his inspiring new single, “Miracles The Remix,” a powerful fusion of Contemporary Gospel, Soul, and R&B that reflects a deeply personal testimony of faith, healing, and gratitude. Released on June 8, 2026, the track delivers a timely message of hope, reminding listeners that miracles can happen when they are needed most.
The song was inspired by a life-changing experience that saw Conerly undergo emergency surgery and make a remarkable recovery. Viewing his survival as nothing short of a miracle, he channeled the emotions of that moment into music, writing the song in less than 30 minutes. The result is a heartfelt declaration of faith that speaks not only to Christians but to anyone who has experienced unexpected grace in difficult circumstances.
“Miracles The Remix” builds upon the song’s original message while introducing richer musical textures and enhanced production. Featuring soulful vocals, uplifting gospel themes, and smooth R&B influences, the remix highlights stronger guitar and piano melodies alongside a deeper, more resonant bass line. The track balances spiritual conviction with a universal message of perseverance, healing, and hope.
The production process began in Conerly’s Pro Tools home studio, where he has honed his craft for more than 15 years. Starting with his own piano and bass demo, he later collaborated with additional musicians to bring greater depth and dimension to the final recording. The result is a polished and emotionally resonant piece that showcases both his songwriting and production expertise.
Few artists can match the breadth of Pops Conerly’s musical journey. With a career spanning more than six decades, he first gained attention at just 17 years old after recording a demo at Houston’s legendary Duke-Peacock Studio. The opportunity led to a staff writer and recording contract with renowned music executive Don Robey, launching a career that would see him record songs such as “A Whole Lot of Soul is Gone” and “Little Girls Go Home.”
Conerly’s songwriting talents also earned industry recognition when he penned the Billboard-charting hit “I Won’t Let That Chump Break Your Heart” for Carl Carlton. Over the years, he continued to build an impressive résumé through collaborations with labels including Eve-Jim Records and Malaco Music, establishing himself as a respected figure in soul and gospel music.
His commitment to growth and learning remained strong throughout his career. In 2018, he earned an Associate of Science degree in Music Production, further expanding his expertise as both an artist and producer. Today, he leads his own imprint, Rob-K Music, while continuing to create music that reflects his faith and life experiences.
Influenced by legendary artists such as Bobby Womack, Bobby Bland, and Sam Cooke, Pops Conerly brings a timeless soulfulness to his work while maintaining a message that resonates with modern audiences. With “Miracles The Remix,” he offers a moving reminder that faith, resilience, and hope remain powerful forces capable of transforming lives.
