We are thrilled to announce the arrival of Taya Gaukrodger (née Smith) and her husband Ben’s first child. Baby boy Bo Benaiah Gaukrodger was born on October 20th at 8:15AM, weighing 9lbs and measuring 22.5 inches. Taya shared the exciting news on social media, expressing her gratitude and joy for their new addition.
In a heartfelt post, Taya shared her appreciation for the gift of motherhood and the kindness of God. She described Bo as a “joy-filled little boy” and expressed her admiration for Ben as an incredible father. Taya also shared the story behind their son’s name, revealing that they sought guidance from God in selecting a name that would carry significance and purpose.
After discussing various name options, Taya woke up one morning with a strong prompting to search for the word “BO” in Hebrew. The word “Bo” in Hebrew means “go” or “come” and holds significance in the Bible. Taya and Ben believe that names have the power to identify and speak over individuals, and they see Bo’s name as a reminder of his belonging to the Lord and his call to obedience and authority under God.
Taya and Ben are excited to embark on this new journey of parenthood and are grateful for the love and support they have received. They express their deep love for their son and their commitment to raising him in the ways of the Lord.
