Edward Rivera, born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, brings a rich background and passion for worship to Bethel Music. His musical journey began at the age of 16, and by 17, he felt a calling to speak to the marginalized, the prodigals, and the unreached through worship. After joining a traveling worship choir and gaining experience as a background vocalist for various artists, Rivera embarked on a six-year career, ultimately finding his home with Bethel Music in 2021.
Reflecting on the inspiration behind “Nothing Else,” Rivera shares, “The song came at a perfect time in my life. I had just wrapped up a year-long tour and was feeling like I missed something. It was a reminder to not lose focus on what really matters in this world, which is Jesus. This song is an invitation to wanderers to come back home, back to what truly matters.”
