Growing up in Brunswick, GA, off Perry Lane, Hulvey pays homage to his roots with the EP, featuring four new tracks that showcase a variety of sounds and emotions. Produced by talents like Carvello and Lasanna “Ace” Harris, the project includes worshipful melodies, soulful rhythms, and deep introspection.

The title track, “Perry Lane,” serves as a storytelling masterpiece where Hulvey vulnerably shares moments that shaped him and connects them to his present reality. Reflecting on childhood dreams, personal relationships, and the impact of trauma, the song is a powerful journey through Hulvey’s perspective.
“I dreamed for so long of truly doing this rap thing. I didn’t know what would come with it. This song uncovers the trauma that started when I was cut from the basketball team and the way it affected my personal relationships. It’s pure storytelling from my perspective. Welcome to Perry Lane,” shares Hulvey.
Other tracks like “More of U” featuring Aha Gazelle and “No Magic” showcase Hulvey’s rap prowess over hard-hitting production with supporting choir vocals. The EP also delves into the theme of love with “Fancy,” where Hulvey reflects on the beauty he sees in his wife and son.
In conjunction with the EP, Hulvey takes fans on a visual journey back to his hometown with the YouTube video “A Day On Perry Lane.” Exploring the homes, friends, mentors, and places that shaped his story, the video provides a glimpse into Brunswick and Hulvey’s personal journey.
After a successful headline tour, Hulvey remains focused on creating music that glorifies God and uplifts listeners. “What matters above anything is making music that glorifies God, and I want people to be able to hear that when they press play. My hope is to meet people where they are and that they would feel their spirits lifted,” says Hulvey.
As the year comes to an end, the release of “Perry Lane Pack” is a testament to Hulvey’s artistic growth and vision for the future.
