GRAMMY-winning and multi-Platinum-selling group Casting Crowns is commemorating their 20th anniversary as a band, and the festivities include the recent achievement of their 15th RIAA Gold certified single, “Scars In Heaven.” This noteworthy milestone comes from the band’s latest studio project, “Healer,” which set global first-day streaming records for a Christian song debut on Amazon Music at the time.
In addition to the Gold certification, Casting Crowns received special recognition from their label, Provident Entertainment, with a commemorative plaque acknowledging their 20th anniversary and the remarkable accomplishment of selling more than 13 million albums. As part of the anniversary celebration, the group released a legacy album titled “Lifesongs: A Celebration of the First 20 Years.”
Casting Crowns recently concluded the first leg of their “Casting Crowns’ 20th Anniversary Tour: A Live Symphony Experience,” treating audiences to a unique and memorable live performance.
Looking ahead, on November 30th, the band will premiere their documentary, “Casting Crowns: Home By Sunday,” in select theaters nationwide for a one-night event. “Home By Sunday” delves into the stories behind Casting Crowns’ journey, music, and ministry, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the mission and mindset that has driven the band for the past two decades.
