Better Than I Found It, the outreach arm of the nonprofit organization founded by three-time GRAMMY nominee and American Idol alum Danny Gokey, has announced their Better Than I Found It “Bus Stop” give back events as part of Gokey’s fall “Stay Strong” tour with Austin French and Natalie Layne.
These give back events will spotlight and provide practical resources to hardworking individuals and nonprofits making positive impacts in their communities. The events will focus on various causes, including supporting the homeless in Nashville, addressing food insecurity, aiding veterans, and more.
After the success of their “Bus Stops” last spring, which shed light on the pressing needs of different communities, this fall’s tour aims to have a lasting impact on the nonprofits they’re supporting.

The Better Than I Found It “Bus Stops” will be hosted in four cities: Nashville, TN; Macon, GA; Fort Wayne, IN; and Woodbridge, VA. The goal is to share inspiring stories of founders and nonprofits who are striving to make a difference.
As part of the “Stay Strong” tour, Better Than I Found It will also be selling an exclusive “Giveback Backpack.” Inspired by a 16-year-old who initiated a “blessing bag” ministry to provide hygiene products to the homeless, these backpacks will be sold as a set of two—one to keep and one to fill with items to be given away to someone in need. The proceeds from the sales will support future Better Than I Found It giveback events.
Danny Gokey’s commitment to making a positive impact through music and community engagement continues to shine through Better Than I Found It, creating opportunities to uplift and support those in need across the country
