Celebrated singer-songwriter Tasha Layton is ushering in the festive season with not one but two Christmas projects, delighting fans with a live album and an expanded edition of her acclaimed 2022 holiday debut.

On November 17, Tasha Layton released “This Is Christmas: Live from The Fisher Center,” a nine-song compilation capturing the magic of her first-ever in-concert set. Recorded with an orchestra at Nashville’s prestigious Belmont University, the live album features enchanting renditions of Layton’s signature originals, including “Make It To Christmastime,” “Comfort and Joy,” and the title track. The setlist also boasts timeless holiday classics like “Diddly Squat” and “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” creating a festive musical experience.

Following this live extravaganza, Tasha Layton is set to reissue her 2022 full-length holiday debut, “This Is Christmas” (Expanded Edition), on November 24. Produced by her husband, GRAMMY and Dove Award winner Keith Everette Smith, the 14-track collection includes four newly recorded songs alongside the project’s original 10 favorites and holiday originals. Among the additions is the previously unreleased “Turn Your Eyes (This Christmas Day),” a heartfelt composition by Layton, Smith, Miles Landon, and Tony Wood. The expanded edition also features a fresh arrangement of “Angels We Have Heard On High” and digital singles “This Christmas” and “White Christmas.”

The track “White Christmas,” recorded at Hollywood’s famed EastWest Studios and co-produced by Keith Everette Smith and “Glee” vocal producer Tim Davis, holds special significance for Layton. Featuring 16 a cappella vocalists accompanying Layton in a classic style popularized by Fred Waring, the song captures the nostalgia of an era and resonates with Layton’s own story, having lived in Los Angeles for a decade.

In a delightful addition, Layton’s rendition of “Somewhere In My Memory” from the 2022 Christmas album is featured in the new Hallmark Channel original movie “Where Are You, Christmas?” Moreover, she collaborates with TobyMac on his latest single, “Christmas Hits Different.” Fans will have the opportunity to experience the magic of both projects live as Tasha Layton joins Phil Wickham’s “Behold Christmas Nights” tour, making stops in Texas and Louisiana later this month. This holiday season, Tasha Layton is doubling the joy with her enchanting musical offerings
