Award-winning contemporary Christian group We The Kingdom will release their highly anticipated new album, Dear Jesus, on January 30, 2026, via Capitol Christian Music Group. Fans can get an early listen to the title track “Dear Jesus”, available today, with pre-orders open now.

Dear Jesus finds the band returning to the heart of what brought them together: writing songs that are deeply personal, faith-driven, and unafraid to wrestle with both light and darkness. Recorded in their own Nashville studio, the seven-track album combines We The Kingdom’s signature folk-rock sound with fresh creative energy, emphasizing honest storytelling and musicianship.

“After spending two years recording, it’s beautiful when you can tell the story of reality,” shares the band. “This record is a culmination of the beauty that came from freedom: no themes or motives, but truly authentic.”

The album follows the October release of “Don’t Let The Darkness,” a hopeful anthem that sets the tone for a project centered on light overcoming shadow. Across tracks like “Let It Be Jesus,” “Rescue Me,” and “I Belong To You,” listeners encounter surrender, belonging, and renewal through vivid imagery and heartfelt lyricism. Standout collaborations include “Holiness” featuring Chris Tomlin, a worshipful track that returns to the band’s spiritual roots. The closing track, “Easy,” offers a moment of peace, reminding listeners that “His yoke is easy and His burden is light.”

The title track, “Dear Jesus,” draws inspiration from a real conversation with a man whose life was transformed by grace. Imagining that story as a letter to God, the song embodies the album’s core: raw, honest, and anchored in redemption.
